Sofia Åkerberg

Sofia Åkerberg is currently engaged in the role of International Real Assets - Real Estate at Alecta, having joined in June 2023. Prior to this, Sofia accrued significant experience at Newsec from January 2019 to June 2023, advancing from Associate to Senior Associate in Capital Markets. Additionally, Sofia served as a CEO Trainee and Business Developer during this period. Engagement with the Urban Land Institute as a Board Member of ULI Young Leaders Sweden occurred from January 2020 to April 2021. Sofia's earlier career includes positions as a Customer Advisor and Corporate Credit Analyst at Danske Bank from August 2016 to February 2019, and as a Financial Analyst at Linköpings kommun. Further experience includes participation in the Deloitte Talent program in 2018. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Business & Economics with a focus on Finance and Spanish from Linköping University, supplemented by studies at CUNEF Universidad and Universidad Nebrija, along with various secondary education institutions.
