Alex Gulevich

Alex Gulevich is a Scientist at Alector since 2020, specializing in antibody engineering to enhance the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of monoclonal therapeutics targeting neurodegenerative diseases. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Genentech, an Intern at Second Genome Inc., and various research and teaching positions at the University of California, Davis, where dissertation work focused on bacterial transcriptional regulation. Alex also conducted research as a Visiting Research Fellow at Chungnam National University and assisted in toxicology studies as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley. Alex holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell, and Developmental Biology and a B.S. in Genetics, both from the University of California, Davis.
