Jason Banks

Jason Banks has a diverse work experience in various finance roles. Jason is currently serving as the Vice President of Financial Planning & Portfolio Valuation at Alector since June 2022. Prior to that, they held positions at Kura Oncology, Inc. as part of the FP&A, Finance, and Strategy team from August 2020 to June 2022. From October 2018 to August 2020, they worked as part of the Corporate Finance team at Catalyst Biosciences. Jason also served as part of the Finance & Operations team at Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. from March 2017 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Gilead Sciences in roles such as Commercial FP&A, Research & Development FP&A. Jason started their career at KPMG in M&A Transaction Services-Financial Due Diligence and Audit. Additionally, they worked as a Tax Associate at Assessment Counseling Services.

Jason Banks has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. Jason also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business with a focus on Finance and Accounting from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Additionally, they have completed a seminar on "The Drug Development Process" at UC Berkeley Extension and a Masterclass in Orphan Drugs at Terrapinn Training.
