Christine Long

Christine Long is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and energy law, currently serving as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Alectra since January 2022. Prior experience includes key roles at the Ontario Energy Board from June 2012 to January 2022, where Christine held positions as Registrar, Vice Chair, and Board Member. A former Partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, specialized in energy regulatory law, Christine also worked as a Seconded Lawyer at the Independent Electricity System Operator during critical market deregulation. Early career experience includes positions as an Associate at Fernandes Hearn Theall and as an Articling Student at McCarthy Tetrault. Educational credentials comprise a law degree from the University of Windsor and a BA in Administrative and Commercial Studies, Politics from Western University, complemented by a Directors Education Program certification from the Rotman School of Business.
