Dan Lawrence

Dan Lawrence is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and asset management. Currently serving as a Planning Engineer at Alectra since July 2017, Dan focuses on capital investment planning for the West region. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a Distribution Engineer at Horizon Utilities from September 2010 to July 2017, specializing in asset management and distribution network planning. Dan's earlier experience includes positions as an Electrical Engineer at JNE Consulting from May 2005 to September 2010 and at North Bay Hydro from October 2003 to July 2004. Dan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University, completed in 2003, and furthered education at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2004 to 2005.
