Everol Smith Msc

Everol Smith MSc, P.Eng. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Supervisor of Station Sustainment at Alectra since March 2018, Everol previously worked as Distribution Grid Operations Supervisor at Toronto Hydro, where responsibilities included supervising daily grid operations and assisting in capital project execution. A significant tenure at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited from 1992 to 2012 involved various roles, including Senior Power Engineer, where achievements included negotiating a 65MW contract and assessing the feasibility of renewable energy projects. Everol holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Power from the University of Technology, complemented by a certificate in Project Management and a diploma in Financial Management.
