Steve Scott is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in stakeholder relations and media communications across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Alectra since April 2011, Scott has a proven track record of managing external communications, liaising with government officials, and providing strategic advice to executives. Previous roles include Managing Director at the Ontario Energy Association, Issues Analyst and Media Relations Officer at the Ontario Ministry of Energy, and Media Relations Officer at the Ontario Ministry of Energy, Science and Technology. Scott also has experience in academia as a seasonal professor at Seneca College, teaching courses in government relations. Scott holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University and has pursued additional leadership education.
