Tom Weaver

Tom Weaver, P. Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in management and customer connections within the electrical utility sector. Since November 2015, Tom has served as the Manager of Network Metering at Alectra, overseeing a team of 60 staff responsible for metering installations for 1 million customers. Tom has played a pivotal role in merging four local distribution companies, focusing on best practices and employee engagement. Previously, Tom held various positions at Horizon Utilities, including Acting Director of Customer Connections and Manager of Customer Connections, where emphasis was placed on implementing new processes and technologies. Tom's earlier career includes managerial roles at Siemens Power Generation and Duchess Foods, along with an engineering position at Beatrice, where significant environmental projects were implemented. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University.
