Jette Henderson

Jette Henderson is a highly experienced AI researcher currently serving as a Staff AI Researcher at Aledade, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Jette held the position of Senior Machine Learning Research Scientist at CognitiveScale from June 2018 to May 2023, where leadership in research on fairness, explainability, and transparency in machine learning was a primary focus. Jette developed the CERTIFAI method for generating counterfactual explanations and transformed it into a commercial product. Jette's academic background includes a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Computational Sciences, Engineering, and Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, where significant contributions were made in machine learning methods and tools for evaluating phenotypes in clinical contexts.
