Michelle Wells, LCPC, currently serves as Market Manager for Performance and Operations in New England, New Jersey, and New York at Aledade, Inc. since September 2022, following roles as Senior Practice Transformation Specialist and Practice Transformation Specialist. From May 2021 until September 2024, Michelle was the Immediate Past President of the Maine Mental Health Counselors Association. Between February 2018 and September 2022, Michele held several positions at MaineHealth, including Program Manager for the Center for Tobacco Independence, focusing on integrating evidence-based tobacco treatment practices into behavioral health care. Prior experience includes clinical reviewing at Kepro, owning a private practice, co-founding Greater Portland DBT, and working as an outpatient therapist at Community Counseling Center. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University, Project Management Certification from the University of Southern Maine, and ongoing studies for a Graduate Certificate in Public Health at the University of Southern Maine. Additional training includes a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
