Marissa Bedard

Marissa Bedard has diverse work experience in both software engineering and education. Marissa currently works at Alegeus as a Software Development Lead, where they previously held positions as a Software Engineer and a Senior Sustaining/DevOps Engineer. Prior to joining Alegeus, Marissa worked as a Sustaining/DevOps Engineer for a year. Marissa also has teaching experience, having worked as a Girls Who Code Instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and as a Teacher at Asa Clark Middle School and the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District.

Marissa Bedard completed their Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education at Baldwin Wallace University from 2013 to 2017. Marissa then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2019 to 2022.
