At Alekain, our mission is to create and enlighten pathways for girls and women in Afghanistan and empower them to pursue quality-accredited online high school education through our partner, Smart Schools International, and be able to continue their higher education, ensuring their journey continues seamlessly into college and beyond.

By providing access to quality online education, equipping girls and women with skills and competencies required in the 21st-century job market, and providing them with essential resources to pursue their education at a higher level, we empower women to reach their full potential and to own their future trajectories. Through our collaborative programs, advocacy efforts, and strong partnerships, we are working towards a future where every woman and girl in Afghanistan has the chance to thrive and make a meaningful contribution to their community and society at large. We will do this student by student and girl by girl, building momentum as our resources and networks continue to grow and develop. 

At Alekain, we believe that education is the key to empowerment. By helping to provide access to quality high school education, we aim to break barriers and build a brighter future for girls and women in Afghanistan.
