Alemara is a London civil and structural engineering consultancy. We were set up by engineers who wanted one thing: make the process easier for clients.

You get quick turnarounds, clear fees upfront, and engineers who answer the phone. Our designs are practical and buildable, not just correct on paper.

For the past ten years we’ve worked across every London borough. On residential jobs we cover loft conversions, extensions, basements, load‑bearing wall removals, subsidence investigations, and full structural surveys. We’re comfortable with both period properties and modern builds, and we handle conservation area constraints and building control submissions.

On larger schemes we’ve delivered temporary works design and structural assurance on HS2 and Hinkley Point C. We also advise on commercial projects, including hotels, student accommodation, restaurants, and new builds.

We use software to remove avoidable steps, keep you updated, and get structural packages through approval without hold‑ups. Our engineers are ICE or IStructE accredited, each with at least five years at senior level. 

We’re moving toward employee ownership because we want everyone accountable for the work.
