Uri Ar

Uri Ar has extensive experience in brand and experience design, serving in various leadership roles throughout their career.

Uri started their career as the Senior Director of User Experience and Vice President of Creative at Metacafe Inc. in 2006. From there, they worked as a Creative Consultant and then Creative Director at Houzz, where they were responsible for building the company's brand, designing the website, advertising and monetization products, and creating marketing materials.

In 2010, Uri founded Loolyan, a brand and interactive product design agency. Uri served as the Chief Creative Officer and helped launch American and Israeli brands and products for startups like Houzz and Supersonic, as well as designing products for large companies such as Intel and Gett. Loolyan was later acquired by Firma in 2017.

After the acquisition, Uri became the Chief Digital Officer at FIRMA. the brandhouse, where they led digital initiatives and strategies until 2019. Uri then joined Aleph as an Entrepreneur in Residence, providing strategic guidance to portfolio companies in terms of brand and product strategy, design mentorship, and user experience. Uri also co-created the Urica™ brand strategy process and methodology with Erica Marom.

In addition to their roles at Aleph and Firma, Uri has served as an Advisor to companies like Pic-Time and Relate Design, offering their expertise in brand and experience design.

Throughout their career, Uri has also shared their knowledge and skills as a Lecturer at the Holon Institute of Technology. Uri'swork experience demonstrates their expertise in brand strategy, product design, user experience, and team building.
