Lars Weber

Lars Weber has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg for a period of six years. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the Business Manager Location Leipzig at FOM. In 2011, they joined NORD/LB, where they held the roles of Senior Specialist IT-Strategy until 2018 and Head of IT Production Processes until 2019. In 2019, Lars Weber became a Full Professor of General Management with a Focus on Digitalisation at HAWK University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hildesheim/Holzminden/Göttingen. Their most recent role is as the COO at Alephnet, which they commenced in November 2021. Additionally, Lars is the Founder and CEO of simthemis, a position they have held since 2007.

Lars Weber has an extensive education history. Lars began their educational journey in 1994 by obtaining a Bank Clerk degree from Dresdner Bank AG, specializing in Banking. From 1997 to 2003, they attended Technische Universität Dresden, where they earned a Diploma in Business Administration, focusing on Business Administration and Economics. Following that, Lars pursued their academic career at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg from 2003 to 2009, completing their PhD in Economics.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Lars Weber has also obtained two certifications. In 2021, they received the TOP 25 VFH-TOY certification from Badgr, now part of Instructure. Lars further enhanced their skills in 2022 by acquiring the Moodle Fortschritte sichtbar machen certification, also from Badgr, now part of Instructure.
