Will Thames

Will Thames, CPCU, MBA, has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having held significant roles at various firms. Thames began as a Commercial Insurance Broker at Brown & Brown from January 2011 to April 2014. Subsequently, Thames served as Executive Vice President at Brown & Brown Insurance from April 2014 to November 2018, leading a team that provides comprehensive commercial and personal insurance services. After that, Thames worked as Area Managing Executive at McGriff from September 2022 to February 2024. Currently, Thames holds the position of Regional Director for Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida at Alera Group, Inc. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College, an MBA from The Citadel, and coursework in Accounting from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business.
