Ellen Hunt has a wealth of experience in the business and finance world. Ellen began their career in 1986 as a Managing Partner at Gillman/Hunt Ltd., a firm dedicated to accelerating the growth of premier and emerging investment management organizations. In 1996, they were recruited by the Chief Financial Officer of BNY ESI and reported directly to the Vice Chairman to develop a new business model for the firm. In 2000, they co-founded and became the CEO of FinancialSockets, Inc., a FinTech SaaS company, taking it from an idea to launch through capital raising, scale and growth and then to successful sale to State Street Corporation. In 2008, they became the Managing Director of RelationshipLink Business Advisors, providing strategic advisory services to businesses seeking to ignite growth initiatives. In 2013, they were the Director of the SUNY Levin Institute's Women Entrepreneurs & Investors Program, funded in part by the Alfred P. Sloane Foundation. In 2016, they became the Director of the Diversity & Inclusion Practice at Icosystem. In 2017, they became the Advisor & Former President & Co-Founder of Aleria.Tech, which helps organizations quantify the link between diversity and performance. In addition, they are a Forbes Contributor, writing a weekly post on the "Complexity of Diversity" and is a speaker on the topic.

Ellen Hunt attended Fordham University from 1980 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
