Scott Krause

Adjunct Instructor

Scott Krause is an experienced law enforcement professional with extensive experience in various capacities. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) since February 2014, Scott instructs law enforcement classes, including CRASE-Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events. In addition, Scott holds the position of Assistant Chief of Police at the City of Fond du Lac Police Department since January 2001, overseeing the Criminal Investigation Division and previously serving as SWAT Commander with membership on the SWAT Team since July 2002. Scott has also worked as the Unit Coordinator for the Lake Winnebago Area Metro Drug Unit from July 2007 to July 2019, functioning as an undercover narcotics investigator and K-9 handler. Scott began a career in law enforcement as a Correctional Officer for Outagamie County Sheriff's from May 2000 to January 2001 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from Marian University of Fond du Lac, coupled with training from the FBI National Academy (FBINA) Session 284.
