Stacy James

Stacy James has extensive experience in law enforcement and education, currently serving as a Basic Life Support Instructor at Burleson High School since February 2020 and as a Criminal Justice Coordinator and Teacher, where responsibilities include leading the criminal justice program under TEA guidelines. James is also an ALERRT CRCC Instructor and Active Shooter Train-the-Trainer with Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training, assisting law enforcement and educational institutions nationwide in active shooter preparedness. As the Chief Executive Officer of Team Defenders since May 2012, James further demonstrates leadership in the field. Prior experience includes serving as a Security Forces Instructor Trainer with the United States Air Force Security Forces for over 14 years, where duties involved training thousands of personnel annually, and as a Police Officer with the Fort Worth Police Department. Educational background includes degrees in Criminal Justice and related fields from multiple institutions.
