Thomas Geiger

Thomas Geiger is a meteorologist with extensive experience in weather forecasting and emergency management. Currently employed at AlertMedia since October 2023, Geiger previously worked at AccuWeather from November 2020 to September 2023, providing global forecasts and issuing warnings for severe weather events while also serving on the Quick Response Team. Earlier roles include a weather forecaster position at Metro Weather Watch, a member of the Virtual Operations Support Team at the National Center for Security and Preparedness at the University at Albany, and a meteorology internship with the New York State Office of Emergency Management. Thomas Geiger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University at Albany, completed in 2020.
