Gary El-Gamil

Gary El-Gamil is the Chief Application Developer / Architect at Alertus Technologies since January 2006. Gary was the original designer and developer of the server software for the Alertus Emergency Notification system and has developed java based web GUI and middleware applications implementing SOA architecture. Gary authored inbound SOAP and REST APIs currently in use by 20+ industry partners. Prior to Alertus, Gary was a Project Manager at Amentra, a Red Hat company, from March 2005 to July 2008, where Gary managed a project team developing enterprise Java web services and applications for a large insurance company. Before that, Gary served as a Systems Developer at National Energy and Gas Transmission and owned VersaSolutions LLC. Gary holds a BS in Information Technology and Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business.
