John Heaton

John Heaton's work experience includes various roles in different companies. John started their career in 1995 as a Practice Manager at Oracle, where they worked until 2005. In 2005, they joined iSeerix as a Director and held the position until 2015. From 2011 to 2012, John worked at Xstrata Copper as a Software Development Manager / Technical Architect.Since 2012, they worked at Heritage Bank as a Manager, Strategy and Architecture until 2018. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Moneycatcha Pty Ltd. After that, they joined iSeerix as a Consultant for a year. In 2020, they became a Non-Executive Board Member at Moneycatcha Pty Ltd. Currently, they are working as a Strategist at Alex.Bank since 2019, and also previously held the position of Chief Technology Officer before their current role.

John Heaton's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Southern Queensland, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Project Management degree with a focus on Project Management at the same university. Prior to that, in 1992 to 1995, John earned a BSC degree in Information Technology from Technikon Witwatersrand.
