There are those who enjoy a game, and there are those who understand that there is magic in play. Since 2010, Alexandra Llewellyn has made an art of it. From her famed bespoke backgammon boards to her exquisite wood marquetry poker sets, Alexandra's work turns play into something magnificent.

Inspired by games played with her step-grandfather in the backstreets of Cairo, Alexandra has long been enchanted by the inherent poetry of proportion of backgammon. Her training as a fine artist saw Alexandra apply her expertise to a medium she has loved since childhood. Designed by Alexandra in London before being handmade by specialist artisans, collaborating with Alexandra on a custom-made design is your opportunity to create a truly original objet d'art that tells your brand story and will be enjoyed for generations to come, becoming an heirloom of the future.

Commissioned by prestigious luxury brands as well as internationally well-known figures and royalty, Alexandra is adept at envisaging a design that perfectly captures the essence of your luxury brand. Instantly recognisable for their artistry and craftsmanship, this is why everyone from fashion houses to hotel groups, master distillers to Swiss watchmakers have collaborated with Alexandra on a custom made game for their business.
