Inger Persson

Inger Persson has extensive experience in the field of statistics and biostatistics. Inger began their career as a PhD student and lecturer at Uppsala University in 1996, teaching statistics and conducting research in the field. Inger later worked as the Head of Biostatistics at TFS Trial Form Support, where they built and managed the statistics department, overseeing all aspects of statistical work in various therapy areas. Inger then moved on to become a Principal Biostatistician at Astrazeneca, where they were responsible for planning and analyzing clinical trials for medical drug trials. In 2007, they established their own consulting firm, Inger Persson Statistikkonsult AB, where they provided statistical advice and support for studies and research projects primarily in the medical field. In 2011, they returned to Uppsala University as an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, specializing in biostatistics. Inger also took on additional roles, including serving as the Deputy Head of Department and Director of PhD Studies. In 2016, they received a fellowship from STINT and taught Multivariate Data Analysis at Amherst College. Most recently, they joined AlgoDx - Algorithm Diagnostics as the Director of AI & Biostatistics, focusing on clinically relevant research using appropriate methodology.
