John Clarke is a trader and the co-founder of Algofi. John has worked in the financial industry for over eight years.
Clarke began their career as a research assistant at Columbia University in 2013. John then moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where they worked as a data analyst for one year. In 2015, Clarke began working at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as a research assistant. John then transitioned to the financial sector, working first as a portfolio manager at MKP Capital Management, L.L.C. and then as a quantitative trader at Old Mission.
In 2018, Clarke co-founded Algofi, a financial technology company that provides algorithmic trading solutions for institutional investors. Clarke currently serves as the company's co-CEO.
John Clarke attended Y Combinator for their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics. John then went on to attend Regis High School.
