Bret Thompson

Bret Thompson's work experience starts in 2005 as an Assistant to the Executive Director at NACCAP and later as the Research Development Coordinator at NACCAP from 2013 to 2014. In 2010, Bret served as the JV Head Baseball Coach at Azusa High School and then went on to become the Manager at the East San Gabriel Valley Coalition for the Homeless from 2012 to 2013. Bret joined ROI Revolution, Inc. in an Internet Marketing Analyst role, managing a portfolio of 7 clients and optimizing over $1.5 million in annual advertising spend on Google and Bing from an unspecified date in 2016 to May 2017.

Bret's entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of Collective Futures in December 2015. Bret developed an innovative platform to invest in students and finance higher education and partnered with Southwest School in La Esperanza, Honduras for a pilot fund. Bret also recruited and managed staff for the startup while counseling students and families in pursuit of higher education opportunities.

In 2017, Bret founded Algofy, a 360° performance marketing agency that provides data-driven solutions. As the CEO/Founder, they focus on delivering top-notch service through a combination of powerful tools, industry experts, and fair performance pricing. Furthermore, Bret promotes employee curiosity, inspires professional and personal growth, and ensures workplace flexibility.

Most recently, Bret joined Bend Outdoor Worx, LLC in 2021 as a Board Member.

Bret Thompson holds a Master's Degree in Psychology of Religion from Heythrop College, University of London, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in both History and Biblical Studies at Azusa Pacific University from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Bret has also obtained several certifications, including Google Analytics, Advanced Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Google Ads Fundamentals, and Shopping Advertising from Google, all achieved in 2016 and 2017. Furthermore, they hold a TESOL 120 Hour Advanced Certificate from TEFL Express, which they obtained in 2013.
