Michael Sokol

Michael Sokol is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in solutions engineering and software development. Currently, Michael serves as the Director of Global Solutions Engineering at Algolia, where responsibilities have included previous roles as Senior Manager and Solutions Engineering Manager for the EMEA region. Prior to joining Algolia in January 2017, Michael co-founded The UX Shop and held the position of CTO. Additional experience includes working as an R&D Engineer at Oodrive and as a Software Developer at Joshfire. Michael holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Software Engineering from ECE, Ecole d'ingénieurs, and has further educational experience from Polytechnique Montréal.
