Rasit Abay

Rasit Abay is an accomplished data scientist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in AI and technology development. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Algolia and previously a Senior Data Scientist at Search.io, Rasit has played a pivotal role in advancing AI applications. As the Founder and Director of FuturifAI, Rasit leads a secure AI development platform for deep learning model deployment, while also founding HortiAI, a cost-effective web platform for digitizing greenhouses with AI. Prior experience includes leading technology development at Neuraspace, focusing on spacecraft collision risk prediction, and working as an Astrodynamicist and ML Engineer at UNSW Canberra. Rasit holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from UNSW and a Master's degree in Astrodynamics from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
