Stefano Mangini

Stefano Mangini is a researcher at Algorithmiq and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, both since April 2023. As a co-founder of BeQuantum since October 2022 and a former PhD student at Università degli Studi di Pavia from October 2019 to April 2023, Stefano focuses on quantum computing and quantum machine learning. Additionally, teaching assistant roles were held for Prof. Lorenzo Maccone in the Physics II course for BSc Mathematics and for Prof. Chiara Macchiavello in the Physics I course for BSc Biology. Prior experience includes an internship at Cambridge Quantum in 2022 and being a mentee in the Quantum Open Source Foundation's mentorship program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Theoretical Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
