Alianza Latina is a national collaborative initiative uniting Latino organizations, leaders, and allies across Canada to build unity and data power for the Latinx community.

Our mission is to bridge the longstanding gaps in data, resources, and collaboration that have limited the voice and visibility of over 1.1 million Latinx Canadians representing more than 22 countries, languages, and cultures.

We are launching with the Canadian National Latino Community Survey—an evidence-based, multilingual (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese) effort to better understand our lived realities, strengths, and challenges. Through our digital hub at alianzalatina.ca, we connect organizations, share open data, and empower unified advocacy and programming across regions.

What We Do:

- Data-Driven Action: Collect and mobilize current, accurate community data to inform advocacy, program design, and policy.
- Unity & Collaboration: Break down silos and foster trust, transparency, and collective impact among organizations and allies.
- Representation & Inclusion: Ensure voices from all regions, ages, countries of origin, and linguistic backgrounds are included.
- Open Access & Partnership: Share resources and survey results openly to support advocacy, research, and planning for all.

Led by a volunteer working group and supported by partners like ALPFA Toronto, Hispanotech, BrainTrainr, and others, Alianza Latina is open to all who share our vision for a stronger, more visible, and equitable Latinx community in Canada.
