Bill Murphy

Bill Murphy serves as the Managing Partner at Cresting Wave, where the focus is on creating connections between innovative companies and technology leaders. Since September 2020, Bill has also co-founded The Contract Network and has held various board member positions at companies such as Reorg, Qualytics, Alias Intelligence, and Cherre. As an advisor to BlueFlame AI, and a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company since April 2020, Bill contributes extensive expertise in technology and leadership. Previously, Bill held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Blackstone from September 2011 to March 2020 and served as a Board Member at Accurics until October 2021. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a major in Computer Science and a concentration in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
