Bing Wang is a highly experienced staff engineer at Alibaba Group, specializing in computer vision and machine learning since August 2017. Prior to this role, Bing Wang served as a senior research scientist at nuTonomy, focusing on developing techniques for autonomous vehicles, and as a senior research engineer at TOLENDATA SINGAPORE R&D CENTRE, where responsibilities included algorithm development for image and video processing. Additionally, Bing Wang co-instructed a course on image processing and machine learning for the Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Association in February 2016, and has experience as a research assistant intern at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, implementing steganalysis algorithms. Bing Wang holds a Ph.D. in computer vision, pattern recognition, and machine learning, as well as a master’s degree in digital media technology from Nanyang Technological University, and a bachelor’s degree in network engineering from Anhui University.
