Junbo L. is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in artificial intelligence applications. At Amazon from July 2020 to August 2025, Junbo contributed to projects including the development of the next generation of Alexa powered by large language models, the AI system for Amazon Robotics, and a large-scale deep learning inference system for Amazon Go. Prior to Amazon, Junbo completed internships as a Software Engineer at ByteDance and Philips in 2019 and 2016-2017, respectively. Currently, Junbo holds the position of Staff Applied Scientist at Alibaba Group since August 2025. Junbo earned a Master's degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree from Zhejiang University.
