Katie Yang

Katie Yang, a CAMS certified professional, has over 10 years of experience in the payment industry with a strong focus on risk and compliance, particularly in fraud detection and AML/CFT regulations across Hong Kong SAR, mainland China, and the European Economic Area. Currently, Katie serves as a Senior Financial Solutions Specialist at Alibaba Group, where they lead innovative payment product development and manage project applications for payment licenses in the EU. They previously held various roles, including Compliance Advisor and Risk and Compliance Manager, where significant achievements included successful payment license applications and the implementation of advanced risk management tools. Katie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and E-Commerce from South China Normal University.
