Larry Liu

Larry Liu is an experienced professional in privacy protection and information security, currently serving as the Head of Privacy Protection at Alibaba Group since August 2019. In this role, Larry manages the privacy operation center and oversees the development of privacy protection functions, systems, tools, and enhancements to existing practices. Prior to this position, Larry held the role of International Compliance Lead at Alibaba Cloud from October 2015 to August 2019 and served as Information Security Manager for Apple Inc. and Nokia, where responsibilities included managing information security for diverse regions and handling crisis management, risk assessment, and supply chain security. Larry's career began as an IS Specialist at Genpact and included a position in incident response at CNCERT/CC.
