Patrick Liu is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and President of the Public Cloud Division at Alibaba Group since September 2019, Patrick previously held the position of Vice President and General Manager of the Financial Cloud Division at Ant Group from August 2017 to September 2019. Earlier roles include General Manager for Greater China at Pivotal Software, General Manager for the Data Computing Department at EMC, and multiple leadership positions at Oracle, including Director of the Exadata Business Unit. Patrick Liu earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University from 1994 to 1999 and completed secondary education at 哈尔滨师大附中 from 1991 to 1994.
