Shu Li is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in storage infrastructure and signal processing. Currently serving as Chief Storage Scientist and Senior Director at Alibaba Group since September 2014, Shu Li is responsible for overseeing research and development, deployment, operation, and maintenance of a complex storage system, including vendor collaboration and various storage technologies. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Engineer and System Architect at Avago Technologies, focusing on signal processing and communication algorithms, and as a Staff Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor, where architecture and micro-architecture analysis of communication algorithms were key responsibilities. Shu Li holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
