Thomas Li

Thomas Li is a Senior Tax Director at Alibaba Group, a position held since 2018, where they focus on tax management and digitalization. They possess extensive experience in advising Chinese tax authorities on significant topics and have led a successful tax team that supports numerous business lines within Alibaba. Prior to joining Alibaba, Thomas served as a tax partner at KPMG for over 13 years, working across various sectors including finance and consumer markets. Additionally, they are actively involved as Co-President of the China Enterprise Tax Directors Affiliates and as a council member of the Chinese Tax Institute.
