Umer Gul

Umer Gul is an accomplished logistics and operations professional with extensive experience in the e-commerce and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Group Logistics at Alibaba Group's Daraz since January 2020, Umer previously held the position of Country Head at Daraz Express from September 2018 to January 2020, and worked at Jumia Group as Head of Logistics in Pakistan from May 2015 to August 2018. Umer's earlier career included a role as Specialist in Business Development and Risk Management at Telenor, and as Management Consultant at Parker Lord, where significant process improvements were achieved. Umer's technical expertise was honed at Ericsson, where project management and solution architecture were key responsibilities.
