Wayne Chin possesses extensive experience in compliance across various sectors, including significant leadership roles at notable companies. As Head of Compliance for Lazada within Alibaba Group, Wayne oversees regulatory compliance and licensing in the ASEAN region. Previous positions include Head of Compliance with ByteDance Global Payment, where Wayne built the compliance team from the ground up, and Regional Compliance Head at Tencent, focusing on payment governance in Asia Pacific. Further experience includes roles as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance at UOB, Country Head of Anti Money Laundering at JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Senior Vice President of Compliance at China Construction Bank. Wayne holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire and a professional qualification in AML and regulatory compliance from The University of Manchester.
