Wei Wang

Wei (Dennis) Wang is a Senior Technical Expert specializing in Physical Design at Alibaba Group since March 2020, focusing on high-performance SoC and server chip designs. Previously, Wang held the position of Principal Design Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, contributing to the physical design of low-power high-speed memory IPs across various advanced processes. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Chip Backend Design Engineer at IBM, where Wang successfully managed multiple chip tape-outs and collaborated with global design teams, and as an IC Backend Design Intern Engineer at C2 Microsystems, working on HDTV ASIC chips. Wang holds a Master’s degree in Microelectronics and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Beijing University of Technology.
