Ying Chi

Ying Chi is currently the Director of DAMO Academy (City Brain Lab) for Drug Development Intelligence at 阿里巴巴集團, a position held since 2020. Ying previously served as the Head/Director of DAMO Academy Medical AI at 阿里巴巴 from 2018 to 2021 and held multiple roles at Siemens Corporate Technology China from 2011 to 2016, including Lead Research Scientist and Product Manager. Prior to that, Ying worked as RG Head & Manager at Siemens Healthineers from 2016 to 2018, and as a Care Project Manager at Nokia from 2004 to 2005. Ying earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London and completed postdoctoral research in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Oxford.
