Fernando Petroni

Fernando Petroni has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to the present. Fernando worked at Alice as a Software Engineer starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at PagSeguro PagBank as a Specialist in Backend Development from April 2020 to March 2022, where they coordinated two teams responsible for the Split Payments solution. Fernando also assisted in the maintenance and development of projects related to the Moip stack integration with PagSeguro.

From 2011 to 2020, Fernando worked at Wirecard Brasil as a Development Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining, planning, and implementing new features for the LikeStore e-commerce application on Facebook. Fernando also handled the maintenance, planning, and implementation of new features for the Moip Payments APIs. Additionally, they served as the Chapter Lead for the Gateway and Fraud Analysis teams.

Before joining Wirecard Brasil, Fernando worked as an Instructor at Caelum from November 2008 to November 2013, and as a Systems Analyst at Techne Engenharia e Sistemas from April 2010 to September 2011.

Fernando Petroni completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Instituto de Matemática e Estatística da Universidade de São Paulo, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Fernando then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2007 to 2010. Fernando'sacademic focus was primarily on the field of Computer Science.
