Patrick Cherry is the Area Superintendent at Alief ISD, a position held since 2017. Previously, they served as Coordinating Principal at Alief Hastings High School from 2013 to 2017 and held various roles within Alief ISD from 2001 to 2007. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University and completed the Rice Educational Entrepreneurship Program at Rice University in 2014. They are currently pursuing a Masters of Education at the University of Houston.
