Mark J. W. Lim

Mark Lim Jian Wei serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Aliena Pte Ltd since August 2018, leading the development and commercialization of satellite-based products and recently establishing a Jet Propulsion Test Facility and Satellite Assembly/Integration Centre in Singapore. Concurrently, Mark Lim is an Adjunct Principal Investigator at Nanyang Technological University, where oversight includes geothermal exploration, nuclear applications, and advanced spacecraft payloads. Previous roles at NTU include Lead Scientist and Adjunct Lecturer, with a focus on assessing geothermal potential and teaching about photovoltaic technology. Since December 2019, Mark Lim has also been a Space Expert-In-Residence at Darwin Innovation Hub, promoting collaboration between Singapore and Northern Australia in the space sector. In addition, Mark Lim contributes as a School Advisory Committee Member for Bukit Batok Secondary School and has past experience in various educational roles within the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Mark Lim holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Plasma Physics, a Master of Science in Plasma Physics, and a Bachelor of Science.
