Staff Application Engineer at Alif Semiconductor

Ahmad Rashed's work experience includes working as a Staff Application Engineer at Alif Semiconductor since August 2021. In this role, they are responsible for system firewall and security, low power modes and power measurement, SoC memory map and GNU Linker optimization. Ahmad also has skills in debugging Cortex-M applications, porting software to new MCUs, and creating application notes.

Prior to that, Ahmad worked at Texas Instruments starting in June 2015. Ahmad held various roles including Systems Engineer and Applications Engineer. In these roles, they worked with Sitara and Jacinto Processors, and later with Sitara Processors (AM64x). Their responsibilities included software development, simulating SoC to ensure hardware design is correct, new silicon bring-up, board debug, hardware documentation, and engineering support. Ahmad also developed expertise in Sitara power management IC, power consumption, power estimation, and thermals.

Ahmad Rashed completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Guyer High School from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
