Ari Gross

Ari Gross, PhD, is a Machine Learning Engineer at Align Technology since May 2023, with previous experience as a Data Scientist at Acosta, where a statistical approach for identifying "phantom inventory" and a machine learning methodology for evaluating in-store representative actions were developed. Prior roles include Data Scientist at CaseWare International Inc., focusing on natural-language query translation and outlier detection methods, and Researcher-Programmer at the Ontario Science Centre, where exhibit content development and visitor behavior research were emphasized. Ari also served as Program Analyst for the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, leading telemedicine initiatives and stakeholder relations, and held the position of Executive Director at the Center for Responsible Brainwave Technologies. An academic background includes a PhD in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology from the University of Toronto.
