Eric Brown

Eric Brown serves as the VP of Technology and Regional CIO for the Americas and EMEA at Align Technology since 2016, where responsibilities include oversight of a $100M global CRM implementation and strategic technology direction. Previously, as Senior Director of Technology, Cloud Platform Engineering, R&D, Eric expanded the role to encompass Manufacturing Engineering and Mobile Applications, contributing significantly by establishing the company's first enterprise architecture guild. Earlier experience includes leadership as Senior Manager of Software Engineering & Agile Coach at Progress, overseeing a team in the development of a cloud-based data access platform, and as Principal Software Engineer at Pharsight Corp, where Eric notably advanced a statistical platform's design and rearchitected a validation application, achieving significant efficiency improvements. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Yale University.
