Joe Friend is an experienced cybersecurity leader with a strong background in information security and technology consulting. Currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Align Technology since February 2018, Joe has previously held similar roles at Fossil Group, Inc. and Apollo Group. Joe began the career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Information Security Consulting Manager and later worked as a Data Quality Assurance Supervisor at Whizbang! Labs. Joe holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, both from Brigham Young University.
