Mukund Sharma

Mukund Sharma is a Senior Patent Portfolios Director at Align Technology, where they develop and protect innovation strategies, manage a diverse patent portfolio, and support R&D programs and patent litigation. Mukund previously served as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, where they strategically developed patents for various technology sectors. Mukund has also held roles as a Software Engineer at Unisys Corp., an Assistant Federal Public Defender, and an Electrical Engineering Intern at Canon Business Machines. They earned a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and possess a BS in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from UC Irvine. Currently, Mukund is pursuing an Executive Management Education program at Wharton Executive Education.
